hello

This website was born from my desire to think out loud, so to speak. I am shy, and I have so much to say, but very little courage. This is how I Ramble On came to take up space on this here dubdubdub. It’s not for the masses, and only a precious few have been given the address. My hope is that my thoughts might inspire the random person who might read them, but mostly to send them on a trip into the ether so I don’t have to listen to them anymore!

I have a background in software development and were it not for my disability I would be happily working in that field today. This website also serves as my personal sandbox, is often in disarray, and does not reflect my full range of talents.

I have Myalgic Encephalomyelitis/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (ME/CFS), which is a fancy way of saying that I have a hard time sitting upright, can’t walk for more than 500 feet without getting dizzy, have “cotton” in my brain that makes it difficult to process new information, and am basically useless until I’m not. I experience small bursts of energy every day that allow me to take care of my basic needs (shower, laundry, food, etc.), but not much beyond that.

I love to read, listen to music, knit, and take care of people. My Little Free Library is a favorite part of my home, and I am planning to plant a community garden very soon.
